The Preferences window (Edit > Preferences) allows you to customize many aspects of MacFIBS. These options are grouped into six categories, indicated by tabs along the top of the window.

If you are unsure of what a particular preference is for, turn on Balloon Help and move your cursor over the item to read its description. MacFIBS Help (this documentation) also contains information related to various settings in the Preferences window.
