A dropper is a player who leaves a match just before losing it, and the refuses to complete the match. Not to put too fine a point on it, but droppers are scum.

Unfortunately, droppers have always been a significant problem on FIBS, and there is little that can be done about it. (Other backgammon servers have adopted various policies and procedures to deal with the problem, but FIBS does not address it in any fashion.)

Like many FIBS players, I wish the situation were different, but there is nothing I can do from an administrative standpoint. MacFIBS does have several features that allow you to avoid droppers and other abusive players.
