Storing passwords in the Keychain

The Keychain was introduced in Mac OS 9 as a system-wide way to manage your passwords easily. MacFIBS allows you to optionally store FIBS user names and passwords in the Keychain. This allows you to manage your FIBS passwords with your other Internet-related passwords. Refer to the Mac OS Help for additional information about creating and using Keychains.

Open the Keychain Access control panel for me.

To use the Keychain to store your MacFIBS user name and password, check the "Use Keychain" option in the Network section of the Preferences window. When you log in to FIBS, the Keychain manager will prompt you to open your personal keychain if it is locked.

Tip: You can view your FIBS password within the Keychain Control Panel.
