The time command

    Syntax:  time
    time zone
    date
    date zone

    The time command displays the current time. The timezone used for this is determined by the 'timezone' variable (default is UTC) or by the optional argument.

    It is unlikely you will need to use this command, unless you are curious about whether the server's time is set properly.
